TERMS OF USE
1 Acceptance of the Terms.
- Accessing or using SEAD Services implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
- Users who do not agree to the Terms must stop using SEAD Services immediately.
- SEAD may modify, update, or revise the Terms anytime. Continued usage means acceptance of the updated Terms.
2 Definitions
- “SEAD” refers to Skill Enhancement and Development, including its owners, instructors, team members, representatives, and authorized staff.
- “User”, “Student”, “Participant”, or “Customer” refers to any individual enrolled in SEAD programs, accessing SEAD platforms, or using SEAD-provided content.
- “Services” include online courses, offline workshops, project-based learning, reports, assignments, mentoring, academic support, career development training, and all other educational offerings.
- “Platform” includes SEAD’s website, LMS, mobile applications, communication channels, payment pages, and any medium used to deliver Services.
- “Content” includes videos, modules, documents, PPTs, worksheets, templates, project files, assessments, Zoom sessions, and all digital materials owned or licensed by SEAD.
- “Personal Data” refers to any information provided by the User during registration or interaction with SEAD Services.
3 Eligibility
- Users must provide complete, accurate, and valid information during registration.
- Users under 18 years must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- SEAD reserves the right to verify User details and deny admission if required.
4 Scope of Services
- SEAD provides:
• Online and offline skill development programs
• Career development and academic training
• Project-based learning and report preparation support
• Internship-oriented learning modules
• Workshops and skill sessions
• E-learning content via LMS or digital platforms
- SEAD may update, modify, or restructure course content, module order, delivery methods, or trainers without prior notice as part of continuous improvement.
- SEAD does not guarantee placements, grades, academic outcomes, or job offers.
5 User Registration & Responsibilities
- Users must provide the following details during registration: Name, Age, Email ID, Phone Number, Address, College Name, Course Details, Project Data, and other required information.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
- Sharing accounts, passwords, or accessing SEAD content through unauthorized means is strictly prohibited.
- SEAD may suspend or terminate accounts involved in misuse, sharing, or violation of terms.
6 Data Collection, Privacy & Security
- SEAD collects Personal Data solely for educational, operational, administrative, and certificate generation purposes.
- Data may be used for:
• Course access
• LMS authentication
• Communication and notifications
• Performance tracking
• Assignments and project evaluation
• Service updates and improvements
- SEAD does not sell, rent, or distribute Personal Data to unauthorized parties.
- Personal Data is handled as per Indian IT Act and applicable data protection laws.
- Session recordings may be used for quality improvement, academic review, or future training. By joining, Users consent to being part of such recordings.
7 Payment Terms
- All course fees must be paid 100% in advance to confirm enrollment.
- Fees are non-transferable between Users or between different courses.
- Payment gateway charges, taxes, and convenience fees are non-refundable.
- SEAD is not responsible for payment failures or delays caused by third-party payment platforms.
8 Refund & Cancellation Policy
- SEAD offers up to 30% refund only under the following conditions:
• Change of mind or personal reasons
• Lack of attendance or participation
• User-side technical issues (device, software, network problems)
• Consumption of more than 20% of course content
• Failure to follow instructions or deadlines
• Non-attendance of live sessions
- Refund requests must be made within 7 days from the date of enrollment.
- All refund decisions are subject to SEAD’s verification and approval.
- Refund processing time is 7 to 14 working days after approval.
9 Prohibited Conduct
- All SEAD materials are the exclusive intellectual property of SEAD.
- Users are prohibited from:
• Copying, recording, or distributing content
• Sharing content with non-registered users
• Uploading SEAD materials to social media or public sites
• Commercializing SEAD content
• Using SEAD content for teaching without written permission
- Violations may result in account termination, certificate cancellation, and legal action.
10 User Conduct Rules
- Users must:
• Maintain professional behavior
• Respect instructors, staff, and peers
• Submit original work
• Follow all academic and participation requirements
- Misconduct may result in removal from the program without refund.
11 Course Completion & Certification
- Certificates are issued only after:
• Completing all modules
• Submitting assignments and projects
• Meeting attendance requirements
• Complying with academic integrity
- SEAD may withhold certificates for incomplete work, missing documents, or violations.
- Certificates may be digitally verifiable.
12 Service Delivery & Technical Requirements
- Users must ensure they have a compatible device, stable internet, and updated software.
- SEAD is not responsible for issues caused by user device or network failure.
- LMS logs, access reports, and email delivery reports act as proof of service delivery.
13 Limitation of Liability
- SEAD is not liable for:
• Internet or device issues
• Delays from third-party platforms
• Loss of user data
• Academic or job-related expectations
• Errors in user-submitted information
- SEAD’s maximum liability is limited to the fee paid by the User.
14 Indemnity
- Users agree to indemnify SEAD for damages, losses, claims, or legal fees arising from misuse of content, violations, or academic dishonesty.
15 Third-Party Tools and Integrations
- SEAD may use third-party platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, and payment gateways.
- Users must comply with each platform’s policies.
- SEAD is not responsible for outages or failures of third-party services.
16 Communication Consent
- By enrolling, Users consent to receive email, WhatsApp, SMS alerts, and updates.
- Users may opt out of promotional messages anytime.
17 Force Majeure
- SEAD is not responsible for delays caused by natural disasters, power failure, server outages, government restrictions, pandemics, or any situation beyond its control.
18 Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
- Disputes will first be attempted to resolve mutually.
- If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be settled through Arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- Arbitration location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
- Arbitration language: English.
19 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- This Agreement is governed by Indian law. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
